This bill requires schools to offer a course studying the era of civil rights in the US. This course will teach people to reject bigotry, champion equal protection under the law, and reject injustice wherever it is found. CPAC supports efforts to properly educate students about US history and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on March 22, 2023 by a vote of 55-42 and the bill later became law.
