This bill prohibits the government from preventing a person from participating in government programs or receiving government benefits solely because of that person’s religious affiliation. CPAC supports the maintenance of the people’s First Amendment freedoms and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on April 25, 2023 by a vote of 53-12 and the bill later became law.
