This bill makes it legal to transport a firearm within a vessel and fortifies the people’s right to use firearms for self-defense. CPAC supports measures that appropriately diminish the quantity of gun-free zones throughout the state and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on April 17, 2023 by a vote of 79-16 and the bill later became law.
