This bill permits employees at public institutions of higher education to elect not to take a DEI training if they do not desire to. CPAC supports efforts to allow people to opt out of implicit bias trainings and other similar trainings and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 23, 2023 by a vote of 41-7 but the bill did not progress in the House.
