This bill prohibits elections in Oklahoma from being conducted using ranked choice voting methods. Ranked choice voting is a system of voting wherein an individual that places second place in an election may win the election by receiving the votes of other losing candidates. CPAC opposes ranked choice voting and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 24, 2024 by a vote of 37-8 and the bill later became law.
