Vote Description

This bill requires a noncustodial parent to give notice to the custodial parent under specified circumstances, while clarifying that certain private information need not be disclosed. CPAC supports measures that encourage parental communication and child safety without unnecessary exposure of private data and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on 2025-03-27 by a vote of 40-7. The House passed this bill on 2025-05-06 by a vote of 76-11. The bill did not become law.
