This bill establishes a refundable tax credit for semiconductor R&D research and extends the sunset dates on Oregon’s enterprise zones. CPAC opposes government attempts to direct the course of industry within its jurisdiction and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on June 21, 2023 by a vote of 47-4 and the bill later became law.
