This bill establishes a board designed to create a Universal Health Plan, the likes of which will map out a publicly funded and governed health care system. CPAC opposes the socialization of health care and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on June 23, 2023 by a vote of 34-21 and the bill later became law.
