This bill provides financial assistance to farmers such that they may pay off the overtime wages that Oregon is currently forcing them to pay. CPAC does not believe that taxpayers should be forced to help pay off the costs of other businesses and opposed this bill. The Senatee passed this bill on March 9, 2023 by a vote of 19-10 and the bill later became law.
