This bill increases the amount of funds that may be apportioned to “culturally and linguistically” diverse teachers for their tuition payments. CPAC does not believe that taxpayers should be forced to pay for other people’s tuition and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on June 22, 2023 by a vote of 24-0 and the bill later became law.
