This bill establishes the framework for the Solar for Schools Grant program, the likes of which will apportion funds to schools to pay for various solar projects. CPAC supports all forms of energy, believes that the government should not support one form of energy over another, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on June 29, 2023 by a vote of 134-69 but the bill did not advance in the Senate.
