Vote Description
This bill requires the Department of Human Services to, quarterly, check wage records held by the Department of Labor and Industry against information submitted by the recipients of SNAP program benefits. CPAC supports efforts to prevent welfare fraud and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 3, 2023 by a vote of 28-21 but the bill did not advance in the House.
