This bill suspends the Pennsylvania Heavy-Duty Diesel Emissions Control Program. This program imposes California-like emissions standards on heavy-duty vehicles and prohibits the importation of certain vehicles that do not meet stringent standards. CPAC opposes onerous emissions standards and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 1, 2023 by a vote of 29-20 but the bill did not advance in the House.
