This bill prohibits the state Treasurer, the State Employees and Public Schools Retirement system from boycotting or divesting from Israel as well as preventing funds from going to an institution of Higher Education that boycotts Israel. CPAC opposes these boycotts and opposed this bill. The Senate passed the bill on June 27, 2024 by a vote of 41-7 but the bill was not taken up by the House.
