This bill sets up government/private partnerships for advanced manufacturing facilities. CPAC opposes these programs that eliminate the free market and come with government mandates, such as the prevailing wage and opposed this bill. The Senate passed the bill on April 10, 2024 by a vote of 46-4 and the bill later became law.
