Vote Description
The Morgan amendment to Rhode Island’s budget bill repeals the meals tax and, in order to make up for the loss in revenue from this repeal, a variety of film subsidies. CPAC supports efforts to reduce taxes and government subsidies and supported this amendment. The House defeated this amendment on June 9, 2023 by a vote of 5-63.
