Interfering in the Private Contract Agreements Between Employers and Employees

Vote Description
This bill voids almost all noncompete agreements. CPAC believes that the government should not interfere in this way in the private contract relationship between employers and employees and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on June 13, 2024 by a vote of 70-2 but was vetoed by Governor McKee.
