Vote Description
This bill states that all new parking lots and existing parking lots undergoing major expansions must be furnished with EV-ready parking spaces. CPAC recognizes that this mandate will further raise construction costs, believes that the government should not support one form of energy over another, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on June 16, 2023 by a vote of 28-5 and the bill later became law.
