This bill creates the Renewable Ready Fund, the likes of which will dump money into projects aimed at preparing certain sites for renewable energy development. CPAC supports all forms of energy, believes that the government should not support one form of energy over another, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 16, 2024 by a vote of 36-0 and the bill later became law.
