This bill prohibits contractors from paying employees cash in lieu of purchasing healthcare for those employees. CPAC supports pay structures that give people increased control over their health care plans and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 30, 2024 by a vote of 37-0 and the bill later became law.
