Vote Description
This resolution proposes a constitutional amendment that would authorize the state to condition one’s reception of Medicaid on one’s fulfillment of certain work requirements. CPAC supports efforts to incentivize unemployed people to seek out employment opportunities and supported this bill. The House passed this resolution on January 31, 2023 by a vote of 60-8 but the resolution stalled in the Senate.
