This bill puts limits on the annual increase in property taxes and subjects school districts to a limit on the amount of taxes levied by a school district in a year. CPAC supports broad-based tax relief whenever possible and supported this bill. The House passed the bill in a 39-31 vote on February 25, 2025, but the measure was ultimately defeated in the Senate.
