This bill apportions $2,000,000 to help health care providers buy technology equipment aimed at improving the quality of life for elderly people. CPAC believes that taxpayers should not be forced to pay for these expenses and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 5, 2024 by a vote of 31-3 and the bill later became law.
