Vote Description

This bill increases the number of work search activities that must be conducted by an individual per week for that individual to remain eligible for unemployment benefits. CPAC supports efforts to ensure that unemployment insurance remains a temporary bridge between jobs and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on April 20, 2023 by a vote of 79-19 and the bill later became law.
