This bill prohibits local governments from adopting or enforcing regulations that micromanage employee scheduling that they have not been required to create under federal or state law. CPAC opposes government micromanagement of businesses and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on March 30, 2023 by a vote of 69-23 and the bill later became law.
