This bill makes numerous changes to Tennessee's tax laws that reduce taxes for the state's residents. For example, it reduces the excise tax on the first $50,000 of a business's net earnings to 0 and offers a short sales tax holiday. CPAC supports broad and appropriate tax cuts and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on April 20, 2024 by a vote of 90-0 and the bill later became law.
