This bill makes it a Class E felony for book publishers to knowingly sell obscene matter to schools serving grades K-12. CPAC supports efforts to shield minors from perverse and pornographic materials and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 10, 2023 by a vote of 24-4 and the bill later became law.
