This bill prohibits localities from adopting ordinances denying police officers the ability to conduct reasonable traffic stops. CPAC supports efforts to protect appropriate policing tactics and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 14, 2024 by a vote of 26-6 and the bill later became law.
