This bill prohibits financial institutions from collecting and releasing certain financial information related to firearms purchases. It also prohibits such institutions from engaging in various discriminatory activities against firearms merchants. CPAC supports efforts to preserve Second Amendment freedoms and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 10, 2024 by a vote of 27-3 and the bill later became law.
