RC 29
Protecting the Lives of Born-Alive Babies.
2023 - US House of Representatives
Vote Description

This bill sponsored by Rep. Ann Wagner, known as the “Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Act,” requires healthcare practitioners to administer the same standard of care that they would administer to a baby born normally to babies that are born alive in the wake of an abortion. It additionally requires medical practitioners to take such babies to actual hospitals. CPAC believes abortion is always a human tragedy, believes that infanticide is evil, and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on January 11, 2023 by a vote of 220-210 but the bill never became law.
