The Scott Perry amendment to H. R. 4665 eliminates funding for the government’s Refugee and Migration assistance program. The federal government offers a myriad of welfare opportunities to incoming migrants and attempts to assist them in finding jobs. CPAC opposes measures that incentivize illegal immigration, believes that these resources should instead be directed toward the well-being of American citizens, and supported this amendment.
