The Matthew Rosendale amendment to H. R. 4394 reduces funding for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to 2022 levels. This amendment represents a long list of multiple amendments that also attempt to reduce appropriations for broad swaths of the federal government to lower levels. CPAC supports efforts to encourage frugality in government spending and supported this amendment. The House defeated this amendment on October 26, 2023 by a vote of 76-335.
