RC 607
Diminishing the Government’s Interference in the Housing Market.
2023 - US House of Representatives
Vote Description

The Josh Brecheen amendment to H. R. 4820 reduces appropriations to the Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity to pre-COVID levels. This office works to create “diverse, inclusive communities” and eliminate “housing discrimination.” CPAC recognizes that this office is another tool used by the federal government to unnecessarily involve itself in the housing market and supported this amendment. The House defeated this amendment on November 7, 2023 by a vote of 174-252. Office of the Clerk, U.S. House of Representatives - Vote Details
