This resolution sponsored by Rep. Michael Guest expels Representative George Santos from the House of Representatives for allegations that have been brought against him over wire fraud, unlawful monetary transactions, theft of public money, and various other charges. CPAC recognizes that expulsions of this nature have historically occurred after convictions have been made. Thus, CPAC, while recognizing that Representative Santos may very well be an absolutely terrible politician and person, opposed his expulsion at the time from the House.
