Vote Description

This Resolution by Kay Granger (CPAC Score 81%) lets the leftist minority write the spending bills by combining 6 of the 12 appropriation bills such as Agriculture and Energy, and is brought to the floor by an emergency device that requires a 2/3 vote and does not allow amendment. The bill sets discretionary spending for FY 2025 at a whopping $1.66 trillion. CPAC opposed this Resolution. The House passed the Resolution on March 6, 2024 by a vote of 339-85.
