This bill by Brad Finstad (CPAC Score 86%) reigns in the regulatory state by making it more difficult for federal agencies to arbitrarily burden small businesses.  CPAC supports efforts to add requirements that prevent agencies from making up arbitrary new rules and supported this bill.  The House passed the bill on December 5, 2024 by a vote of 209-196 but the bill was not taken up in the Senate.
