RC 167
Protecting Consumers Against the EPA’s Attempts to Crack Down on Gas-Powered Vehicles.
2023 - US Senate
Vote Description

This Congressional Review Act resolution sponsored by Sen. Deb Fischer nullifies a rule issued by the EPA entitled, “Control of Air Pollution from New Motor Vehicles: Heavy-Duty Engine and Vehicle Standards.” The rule sets stringent emissions standards for heavy-duty vehicles created in 2027 and in the years after. CPAC opposes the promotion of the Left’s radical climate agenda through the imposition of costly regulations and supported this resolution. The Senate sustained President Biden’s veto of this resolution on June 21, 2023 by a vote of 50-50. U.S. Senate: U.S. Senate Roll Call Votes 118th Congress - 1st Session
