The Mike Lee amendment to H. R. 4366 requires that federal agencies, when creating a new rule, publish in the federal registry a list of the information upon which the rule is based. It then requires the agency to submit the rule to Congress such that legislators may approve the rule. CPAC supports efforts to crack down on burdensome and unnecessary regulations perpetuated by executive agencies and supported this amendment.
