RC 71
Providing Restitution for Injustices Committed Against Members of the Armed Forces.
2023 - US Senate
Vote Description

The Ted Cruz amendment to S. 2226 inserts provisions into the bill that provide remedies to former members of the armed forces that were removed from the military for their refusal to obey the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. It changes their records such that they read that they were “honorably discharged” and allows such members to be reinstated at the highest grade in which they were employed before their involuntary separation. CPAC supports efforts to reverse the negative consequences occasioned by the military’s masochistic vaccine mandates and supported this amendment. The Senate defeated this amendment on July 26, 2023 by a vote of 46-53 U.S. Senate: U.S. Senate Roll Call Votes 118th Congress - 1st Session
