This Congressional Review Act resolution sponsored by Sen. Tommy Tuberville nullifies an interim rule created by the Department of Veteran Affairs entitled, “Reproductive Health Services.” The rule allowed the Department to provide abortion services to veterans. CPAC believes abortion is always a human tragedy, opposes its expansion, and supported this resolution. The Senate defeated this resolution on April 19, 2023 by a vote of 48-51.
