H.J. Res 98
Standard for Determining Joint Employer Status.
2024 - US Senate

Vote Description
This Resolution by John James (CPAC Score 61%) uses the Congressional Review Act (CRA) to eliminate the Biden Backed Rule issued by the National Labor Relation Board that changed the Joint Employer Rule and virtually eliminated part time work. The Rule forced them to live under the heavy regulations of full-time employees. CPAC opposed this change that aimed at eliminating the “gig” economy and supported this resolution. The Senate passed the Resolution on April 10,2024 by a vote of 50-48 but the resolution was vetoed by Biden.
