Vote Description
This motion by Chuck Schumer (CPAC Score 5%) ended the effort to try Alejandro Mayorkas on impeachment charges. Mayorkas was impeached by the House on February 13, 2024. CPAC supported the effort to impeach Mayorkas and opposed this motion to adjourn the impeachment court before a trial was held in the Senate. The motion passed the Senate on April 17, 2024 by a vote of 51-49.
