S.J. Res 32
Small Business Lending Under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Regulation B)
2024 - US Senate

Vote Description
This motion by John Kennedy (CPAC Score 80%) is to override Biden’s veto of a Congressional Review Act resolution which cancelled a DEI rule to require small businesses to monitor how many are women-owned, minority-owned and any other requirements under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act of 1974. That Biden-supported DEI rule is enforced by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. CPAC opposes DEI and supported this effort to override Biden’s veto of the Congressional Review Act resolution. The Senate sustained the veto on January 10, 2024 by a vote of 54-45 (a 2/3 vote was needed).
