Vote Description

This Resolution by Eric Schmitt (CPAC Score 97%) uses the Congressional Review Act to stop a Treasury Department rule that extends massive Covid recovery funds for a pandemic that has long since passed. CPAC opposes this wasteful spending that leads to ever bigger deficits and inflation and supported this Resolution. The Senate defeated the Resolution on May 15, 2024 by a vote of 46-49.
