Vote Description
This Resolution by Ted Cruz (CPAC Rating 96%) uses the Congressional Review Act to overturn a rule from the Department of Energy that sets new efficiency standards for consumer furnaces. CPAC opposes these mandates that result in higher prices for consumer goods and supported this resolution. The Senate passed the Resolution on May 21, 2024 by a vote of 50-45 but it was not taken up in the House.
