This bill prohibits the state government from enforcing any federal bans on the sale or possession of firearms. CPAC supports the founders’ belief in the Second Amendment, supports efforts to quell the federal government’s attempts to stymie individual freedoms, and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on February 9, 2023 by a vote of 60-13 and the bill later became law.
