Vote Description
This bill effectively eliminates a pilot project allowing ranked choice voting from 2026 to 2024 CPAC opposes this new way of holding an election that rewards those candidates who finish 2nd or thirds and penalizes those who come in first and supported this bill. The House passed the bill on February 22, 2024 by a vote of 43-26 but it was defeated in the Senate.
