Vote Description
This bill creates the Utah Fairpark Area Investment and Restoration District, the likes of which will levy taxes on those within its bounds to eventually help construct a stadium. CPAC opposes the creation of these types of special districts and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on February 27, 2024 by a vote of 51-21 and the bill later became law.
