This bill requires that schools designate their teams as being for males, females, or both (coed). It then prohibits males from competing on teams designated for females. CPAC supports efforts to create a safe and fair environment of play in school sports and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on February 7, 2023 by a vote of 51-47 but the bill stalled in the Senate.
