This bill extends the sunset date from 2023 to 2028 on provisions setting up the Dairy Producer Margin Coverage Premium Assistance Fund. CPAC opposes government favoritism toward particular industries and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on February 22, 2023 by a vote of 94-1 and the bill later became law.
